After months of intensive work, the German Energy Storage Systems Association (BVES) has presented a comprehensive strategy for energy storage.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

The main goal of this landmark document is to give practical meaning to the definition of energy storage, which comes into force on July 1, and to facilitate the integration of storage technologies into the energy system. The strategy contains tangible proposals for legal adjustments to ensure smooth implementation of storage technologies.<\/p>\n

In close cooperation with renowned law firms and research institutes, the Energy Law WG has worked intensively on these proposals for change during the last few months. The aim was not only to develop theoretical concepts, but to present practice-oriented solutions.<\/p>\n

The development and operation of a sustainable and secure energy system requires a flexible approach and a holistic view of the entire energy system. The implementation of storage technologies as the fourth pillar of energy supply requires appropriate legal framework conditions.<\/p>\n

As a representative of the storage industry, BVES is proud to present this comprehensive strategy and is confident that it will make a positive contribution to the successful implementation of the energy transition. The BVES storage strategy is an important step towards a sustainable and future-proof energy supply.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
